Payment & Deposits
A 50% deposit is required for all orders over €50 to secure your date. Orders under €50 must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received, and we cannot hold a date without it.
The remaining balance is due three days before collection, and a payment link will be sent to you. Orders placed within one week of collection require full payment upfront.
Once a deposit is paid, your order is confirmed and you are deemed to have accepted our Terms & Conditions.
Any changes to date, design, or quantities must be communicated as soon as possible. While we will always try to accommodate changes, this may not always be possible and additional charges may apply. A new invoice may be issued, and your original deposit will remain valid provided the main details of the order have not changed. Charges may apply if materials have already been purchased.
Quotes are valid for one week only.
Cancellation Policy
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If an order is cancelled after the final payment due date, any payment made cannot be refunded or transferred, regardless of notice given or reason.
Orders under €50 and treat items require full payment at the time of booking, and the same cancellation policy applies.
Collection & Transport
Once your cake leaves our premises, responsibility transfers to the customer, and Simply Khadijat Bakes cannot be held responsible for any damage during transport.
Transport the cake in the boot or front passenger footwell (not on a seat) where it cannot slide or tilt. Ensure your car is cool and air conditioning is on before collection, as heat can affect buttercream cakes.
When you arrive home, place the cake in the fridge immediately and avoid stopping on the way home.
Storage
Our cakes are finished in American Buttercream and must be stored in the fridge.
Remove the cake from the fridge 1–2 hours before serving. A care guide is included with all cakes.
Allergens
All allergies must be declared at the time of ordering.
Our kitchen regularly uses milk, wheat, and eggs, and while care is taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
